"Bloom!"

Hi,

ben weer even bezig geweest met ecoline & doodles; deze is ietsje anders..Na het maken van de zwarte doodles, ben ik verder gaan doodlen met ecoline en witte pen.
Ben wel happy met het resultaat :):)

Been doing some ink & doodling again; this one's a bit different. After making the balck doodles, I continued doodling with colored ink and white pen. Happy with the result :):)

Heb nog wel een paar nieuwe inkt-doodles gemaakt: de bovenste is denk ik aardig gelukt, ben niet zo tevreden over de onderste, maar ja...
I did make some new ink-doodles; the top one I like, not really satisfied with the bottom one though, ah well....

nog een 15x15 collage. Voor deze heb ik voornamelijk papier uit oude tijdschriften gebruikt.

Wat is het maken van collages toch verslavend! Niets leuker dan lekker graven in je magazines en stapels papier en mooie plaatjes/ kleurtjes bij elkaar zoeken...en als 'vanzelf' ontstaat er dan wat!

It's so addictive, the making of collages! It's just such fun to dig into your magazines and paper piles, come up with some nice pictures/ colors..and the collage 'just happens'...

(sorry, but I just couldn't get the colors of the last one just right; in reality it's just more yellowish. So difficult to get your colors right on photo's don't you think?)

Ik heb van alles gebruikt: oude magazines, pictures from books , behangpatronen, tissue papier, rub-ons, posca pen, glitter...
I used all sorts of things like old magazines, old book pictures, wallpaper, tissue paper, rub-ons, glitter & posca pen...

Nieuwe collages/ new collages..

En deze vergeet ik helemaal...
And I totally forget to show you these...

Ben bezig geweest met het maken van 15x15 collages. Ben erachter dat ik het "knippen en plakken" eigenlijk wel 't leukst vind om te doen. Dus ga ik me voortaan wat meer richting op collage-werk, dat ik dan 'opleuk' en versier met mixed media, zoals verf, krijt, glitter, stempels en wat me nog meer invalt...

I've been busy making 15x15 collages. I found out that the actual "cutting & pasting" is really my favourite thing to do. So I'm thinking of focusing some more on collage-work, which of course i can embellish with paint/ glitter/ stamps/ crayons or whatever more...

Binnenkort maak ik nog wat vogel-collages/ I'll be doing some more birdie collages soon.

Eindelijk weer bloggen/ finally bloggin' again!!

Hi allemaal,

Jeetje, 12 september was mijn laatste blogbericht!! Heb 't bloggen wel 'n beetje verwaarloosd de laatste tijd zeg, excuus excuus!
Maar goed, het werk aan de keuken duurde al met al langer dan verwacht en daarna was het druk met werk en andere zaken...
Heb jullie nog wel de foto's tegoed van mijn mandala's, maar nu ingekleurd:

OMG, my latest blogpost was on the 12th of September!! Did I neglect my blog or what..
I'm very very sorry!
But anyway, all in all the work on the new kitchen took a bit longer than expected and after that I was busy with work and other stuff...
I do still owe you the photo's of my , now colored, mandala's:

I colored them in with my Caran d'Ache pencils; i'm quite happy with the result.

And of course I love to show you some pictures of my new kitchen!! I'm sóooo happy with it! It really turned out exactly how I wanted it to be!
(the pictures are a bit 'darkish' so I hope you can see it alright):

I'll be doing a lot of happy cooking in here!!
